SOLID is a competitive trading company that provides imported building materials for civil works, exterior works, and interior solutions in Egypt. We offer a wide variety of products for both commercial and residential use; this includes floor and wall porcelain tiles for indoor and outdoor use, porcelain facade cladding, glass mosaics, and engineered wood.
OUR STORY
Founded in 2011 by Haitham Abed, SOLID has grown from strength to strength over the past 11 years, by supplying a wide variety of international high-grade interior and exterior products and solutions for major projects in Egypt. SOLID prides itself on delivering outstanding product quality at competitive prices to ensure client satisfaction.
SOLID began with the specialisation of importing a diverse range of porcelain floorings to service eminent real-estate projects in Egypt. In pursuit of his vision, Abed sought to minimise the gap between international high-grade products and their price in the local market. Thus, SOLID offers a back-to-back ordering concept, which enables the company to limit fixed costs and compete with local product prices at higher quality, infinite color and print options, as well as impeccable designs.
within a few years, the demand for flooring variety increased exponentially, and Abed was well positioned to achieve great success in his business. In 2015, SOLID expanded it’s product range to include engineered wood and HPL from 2019, glass mosiacs was introduced.
Today, SOLID proudly offers a wide variety of products at competitive prices, as well as solutions for commercial and residential spaces. All our products are sourced from highly ranked, international and reputable professional producers from Italy, Germany, and Spain.
